Alberta is home to the highest number of horses in Canada; they are an integral and valued part of our culture and our industry. There is a special bond between horses and humans. Since 1978, the Alberta Equestrian Federation (AEF) has been dedicated to working for Alberta equines and equestrian community. The Government of Alberta recognizes AEF as the only governing body for equestrian sport. We offer a wide range of equestrian programs and services for beginners to experts and for the young and the young at heart.
