Deer Ridge is located in the southeast sector of the City of Calgary in Ward 14. It is an established community developed in 1978.
The boundaries of the Community: A. on the north, Canyon Meadows Drive B. on the east, escarpment C. on the west, Bow Bottom Trail D. on the south, escarpment to 146 Avenue, then 146 Avenue to Deerfield Drive. Deerfield Drive north to Deer Saxon Drive. Deer Saxon Drive to Bow Bottom Trail.
Deer Ridge facilities include surfaces for winter hockey and leisure ice skating, pickleball courts, and. In addition to park areas there are also multiple soccer fields and two baseball diamonds.
