I n July 2011 we had finished a full renovation of our home and were looking for good quality L. E. D. cabinet lighting for our kitchen and just could not find anything that suited our needs. We found the standard “L. E. D. light tape” and plenty of fixtures that were available in 12, 18 and 24 inch lengths. The tape was inadequate as it has exposed L. E. D. s, the connector system was poorly designed and it was difficult to install. We tested some of the tape and found that after a short while the adhesive would start to let go and the tape would not stay firmly affixed. The cabinets we had were not 12, 18 or 24 inch widths so the “off the shelf” solutions were not an option. We created our own Custom Length, Custom Colour, Custom Luminescence Aluminum Channel Lighting to fit our job. Now we are pleased to be able to offer this and many other products through our new Taylor Electric Light Company.
