Sarina Homes is spearheading an initiative to create beautiful, more walkable world class Main Streets across Calgary that attract and bring people together, through public art installations.
Now within the initial phases of the initiative the role of Senior Project Co-ordinator is required to drive forward into delivery phase.

The initiative’s group will be compromised of various stakeholders including Community Representatives, City of Calgary Planning Administration, neighbours and Industry representatives. You will be supported by a Fundraiser and a Marketing and Communications Director, and will report to a small Advisory Board.
Duties and Responsibilities
Working on a part-time contractual basis, you will proactively manage a range of responsibilities, including:
- Manage project team and execution, budgets and quality, as well as stakeholder relationships
- Research, engage and understand user experience to relay in overall project design
- Prepare and submit applications for permits and co-ordinate through to approvals
- Present and support applications with municipal staff and represent at public engagement sessions, meetings and hearings
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 8-10 years in Urban Planning
· Community building experience and engagement
- Strong computer skills
- Superior critical thinking and analytic skills
- Diligent and enterprising nature – demonstrates strong initiative and ownership of role, and proactively manages responsibilities with limited supervision
- Create and deliver presentations in various formats and communicate in a variety of mediums
- You enjoy building vibrancy in communities and contributing to a team who have their sights set on the values on which Sarina was developed.
