Construction Estimator - Intermediate to Senior - Calgary
Projects range: $1 MM to $100 MM

Our established and growing General Contractor client is seeking an experienced and proven Estimator in Calgary.
Our client has over 25 years of proven experience delivering customer projects, maximizing value, minimizing risks across Canada, leveraging expertise in various construction Best Practices, including Lean, Progressive Design Build, and Integrated Project Delivery. Typical project scope range up to $50 MM to $100 MM for Large-Scale Builds; office renovations & restorations typically range from $1 to $10+ MM.

Ideal Estimator candidates will likely have many of the following attributes:
- Minimum 5+ years construction estimating, project coordination / management with a commercial GC - 10+ years even better!
- Ideally a strong commercial CG estimating foundation, some institutional &/or civil infrastructure would be an asset
- Solid ability to strong proficiency in reading and interpreting specifications, blueprints, and as-builts
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills for developing accurate material and labour estimates, as well as interpreting job-cost reports
- Experience with cost-estimating software to prepare bids and quotes, from inception to tender
- AutoCAD experience is considered an asset - digital drawings & take-off skills required
- Effectively work independently and as part of a project team
- Solid communication skills plus MS Suite experience
