AvantSleep takes its obligations for the health and safety of our patients, staff and the wider community extremely seriously, and we are actively participating in the social distancing that must occur to win the battle against the pandemic.
In addition to in-person patient services, all patient services are now offered via secure Telemedicine. When referring new patients, please indicate any patients you feel should be prioritized or deemed urgent. These are challenging times and we will do our best to see to that these patients receive proper care!
The CPAP therapists are ensuring continuity of care, helping our patients deal with the impact of these events. They are conducting Starts and assisting patients with compliance to therapy.
We’ve made available portable(in-home) sleep testing to those patients who want them, on a remote basis with no physical interaction. We are also taking additional steps to ensure that all units are receiving a high level of medical grade disinfection. We are making similar services available for those people who want to start on therapy, or who need assistance with their continuing treatment.
